It's because of an audio streaming technology called shoutcast.  You will also need to download the WINAMP audio player.  It will actually reproduce sound quality equivalent to an audio CD.

We have selected the Christian genre but we have not listened to them long enough in order to select any particular channel or station over another.

We did like some much better than others and we have been blessed by a few.
